Constant Connect, Ready To Rock!

Do I have to remind you how important is to be able to connect to the Internet no matter where you are? I guess not, but let me also tell you another thing - while it's great to be able to connect at anytime and anywhere, I also think you shouldn't be connected unless you really need to. The reason? I know a lot of people who can't remember the last day when they spent more than 20 minutes looking at the sky, thinking about past and future, and even spend some quality time with their friends. OFFLINE. Don't worry, I am not going to continue telling you how good is to get away from technology for a while, because only a chosen few can afford such a luxury. Instead, I will tell you a few things about Constant Connect, a new solution from Lenovo and RIM to keep you connected anytime, anywhere... as long as you have the right tools of the trade up and running, of course!Announced way back in February, Constant Connect is now finally available as a $149 option available from select business partners and, of course, through Lenovo.com.Just to refresh your memory, Lenovo and RIM "announced that the two companies will work together to promote new Lenovo mobile solutions that will help on-the-go business users enhance their mobile computing and communications experience through tighter integration between Lenovo ThinkPad laptop computers and BlackBerry® smartphones," but that was happening back in February, as I said a bit earlier. The Constant Connect solution allows ThinkPads to pull down BlackBerry emails as long as it's within range, even when the laptop is off. Completely off, to make it even more clear! At last, you can write email on your laptop, and send it via BlackBerry's wireless connection, a feature that's great for those times when you can't get to any WiFi hotspot or 3G access for your laptop.

Best Laptop For Children

If you have kids, then you probably know that, for most parents, it would be easier to find a laptop for the dog then for the children. I know some of you could say that I'm totally wrong, and I only have this to answer - you never knew the kid of one buddy of mine! For example, his monitor had fingers all over it(nothing so special here), and his keyboard knew all possible milk flavors and cookie tastes! Now, we're getting there so, considering all the above, aren't you wondering what's the best laptop for children? If you don't have children yet, that's not an excuse - one day, you'll have to find out the answer to this question anyway, so why not be able to give some useful advice to those around you before finding yourself in the same situation, huh?OK, here's the best laptop for children of the day(maybe not the best ever, but surely the best of the week, haha) - the PeeWee Pivot Tablet Laptop, making its entry into the market as we speak. Its main competitor is the good old OLPC XO, but we'll leave that one aside and see what's inside this little beast: a PeeWee security software to enable parents watch their kids' activity online, spill and drop resistance, packing the now ubiquitous Intel Atom processor, a convertible rotating screen and touch tablet with stylus, a 1.3 MP webcam able to rotate 180 degrees. Also coming with 1 GB of standard memory and a 60 GB "classic" hard drive, the Windows XP Home-powered PeeWee Pivot Tablet Laptop's price starts at $599.99 and is currently available only through http://www.peeweepc.com/.
